OU Fan Noah
Noah went with Mommy and Daddy to visit Grandpa Jim. He had a great time. During our visit, we went to the Oklahoma City Bombing Memorial, which is an eye opening experience. The memorial really makes you realize how lucky we all are. For those of you who have never been to the Memorial, the two walls mark the time before and after the bombing took place. The wall which says 9:01 represents when the city still felt safe and symbolizes innocence. The wall that says 9:03 represents the fall of innocence and how tradgedy can fall any time any where. The 168 empty lighted chairs represent all who lost their lives on April 19, 1995. The blocks with drawings were created from children all across the country who made the blocks and sent them to Oklahoma city to express their sympathy for all the people who lost thier lives. Noah was pretty calm and just sat back in his stroller as we explored the grounds of the bombing site. Grandpa Jim also took Mommy and Daddy to the OU game. While we were all at the game, Noah had a great time playing with Jennifer and Jessica. They watched Baby Einstein videos, and Jennifer and Jessica also taught Noah how to make an "O" and an "U" to cheer for OU. As a souvenir, Jennifer and Jessica's mother gave Noah a book about Oklahoma University. Grandpa Jim also took Noah to his church so Noah could play with the kids in the cool church nursery. Noah loved it when Grandpa Jim pulled him around the neighborhood in the little red wagon.
